What does the province of Alberta expect from Montengarde? A report outlining who our board of directors are. A financial statement that includes the balance at the beginning of the year, the balance at the end of the year, the total amount of expenditures and the total amount of our income. Basically, a list of seven names and addresses and four figures from our bank statements. That's it.

That we haven't accomplished this simple task is due to our lack of said bank statements - but I retrieved them from the bank on Tuesday while coming back from my Doctors appointment.

What does the Board of Directors of the SCA, Inc. expect from Montengarde? A 23 page spreadsheet accounting for every single penny and every single asset the group owns. I'm starting to see why Fleabite kicked up a shit about reporting a couple of years ago - If it had worked he'd have gotten out of several man-days of useless busywork.

There's nothing quite like getting threats from the BOD over something you thought was done months ago. Oh well, 8 months down, 16 months to go.

There is a glimmer of hope though - it's possible that the reports (we need them for 2005 and 2006) were completed but not submitted, and it's just sitting on someone's hard drive out there.

Actually, Fleabite's problem wasn't with the reporting. It was with sending information to an American group.
He claimed it was against FOIP to voluntarily send your own information to someone. He was wrong.

Well, it worked. He got out from under the paperwork when he was replaced.

Actually the form isn't hard - not everything is applicable to us. Do you have an example of the filled in one? I can send you one if need be.

But Yeah, I do totally understand your frustration. I can only say sorry...
