Geeky D&D Question For One and All

Because rato_do_perigo is bored.

Dungeons and Dragons has the following statistics:

• STR (Strength)
• DEX (Dexterity)
• CON (Constitution)
• INT (Intelligence)
• WIS (Wisdom)
• CHA (Charisma)

Suppose you (the real you, not one of your RPG characters) could gain a single point - which attribute would you like increased? I'm torn between INT (which I want) and CHA (which I desperately need).

Now pretend that the point isn't simply created, but transferred from another attribute? Which one would you like decreased? Or would you like to stay as you are? Myself, I'll stick with not losing anything - it would feel too much like deliberately handicapping one's self.

Boy That is tough. I am pretty high already in the CHA,Dex, Int, and WIS. It would have to be INT

In order of desire:
CON, INT, WIS, CHA, DEX, STR.

I would be willing to sacrifice STR for any of the first three.

When I saw this question, the first thing I said was "oh, this is easy!" Then I thought about it and realized that no, it's not. That said, here's my take...

I think I'd rather have my WIS increased. If I had to take that increase from another stat, I'd probably want it to come from CHA as I personally feel that's the least important stat of the bunch.

I'd knock one off CHA toward INT. Who needs that much charisma if one is a genius?

As long as I still retain the ability to understand the power of personal hygiene.

Does having a good set of hoohoos count as charisma? You can get pretty far with a pair of those :D

Hmmm....as to what I'd raise, it's a toss-up between wisdom and dexterity. Not sure I'd give anything up for it, though.

Constitution, easily. I used to be a relatively healthy guy but recently I've been getting sick more and more. It's frustrating.

And feel free to take it from wisdom. I've gone this long without it, one more point drop wouldn't hurt.

I'll trade Intelligence in for Constitution, please. If I live that long, I'll need as much of the latter I can get, and if I don't, the Intelligence isn't going to be much help anyway.

And if I do live that long, I'll get the Intelligence back anyway.
