I mentioned this in my reply to wee_megan but it stands repeating here at the root: The piano was manufactured in 1966. It's well maintained (and has never been touched by rug rats). It's 5'8" in size.

Wow. A G2: good piano. Tell him or her that I think 7K is low. Very low. Unless they want to make sure it goes to a really good home with someone who will play it.

I'm leaving on Friday but will be back on the 12th. If your colleague hasn't sold it by then, I should perhaps come by and have a look at it (to assess its condition) and then I can put the word out amongst my piano-y type friends. Quite frankly, I would weep if it went to some wanker who wanted it as an 'accent piece' for their fucking living room....

I've been told it was manufactured in 1966, but is in very good condition (it was only ever driven to church on Sundays). It was tuned recently, so you could take a look at it for yourself and decide how well maintained it is.

It's 5'8" - whatever that means.
