Life's Little Aches and Pains
Jul. 23rd, 2007 02:12 pmSprained my back picking up my laundry this morning. Fuck.
In other news, I'm seriously questioning the wisdom of getting bashed in the head with a rattan club.

I'll keep at it because I want to shoot, but I don't think I'm ever going to enjoy the mano-a-mano aspects of heavy fighting.

Date: 2007-07-24 12:55 am (UTC)... for that matter is Avacal going to continue the tradition of white helms to signify people who will fall down and yell yeild when a fighter gets close?
... not saying that you should not try out heavy fighting,
but I'm curious for myself (not that I'm too likely to get back on to the feild considering how busy I am off the feild)... but I tried heavy, and my wrists wouldn't take the strain - and since then I have found I have issues with being hit... so the whole yeild thing is the only way I could get back on the feild if I desired.
