Warm Fuzzies From Unexpected Quarters
May. 11th, 2007 02:40 pmSo one of the nice things about losing a bunch of weight is the compliments you get from people. When I started they came all the time and - after I stopped taking them the wrong way - I really enjoyed them. It's been awhile since I've had that happen though. Most of the people I socialize with these days were either not around when I was fat, or saw the change gradually.
Every now and then though, I run into somebody whom I haven't seen in a dog's age.
JMark dropped by work to see me (he wanted to let me know about Chad's condition, which I was already aware of thanks to
ersatz_marduk).

"Holy cow, you've lost about a hundred pounds."It's little things like that that that tell you it's time to do some catching up.
"Just sixty, but thanks for noticing."

Date: 2007-05-11 10:53 pm (UTC)I don't have her contact info, but I have been sort of kept up to date about Chad via the grapevine, and the few times I've run into her. Tell her that she and Chad are in my thoughts and prayers; and if they need anything I can help with to just email me. B.'s mom (both B's past and present) has/had (present B/past B) similar conditions to Chad's.
