Well today is the day. The cars are (mostly) packed. People are quivering in anticipation (or caffeine).

I feel like it's the start of a big foot race. The starting gun goes off, everyone surges forward, then stops. Because there's still 1000 people ahead of you.

Today is like that because we're all on vacation, but it's going to take three days to get anywhere. I need to learn to enjoy the journey for it's own sake, which is not easy for me to do. I fly precisely because I want to get where I'm going.

Today I'm going to Lima (like the bean) Montana. Updates will occur over the next two weeks as time and open wireless hotspots permit.

This will be short because I'm tired. We're in a Motel 6 in Dillon Montana. The roads were a combination of fog, snow and generally suckiness. Also there was a giant let's try to signal intelligent life on Mars strobe lights just off the highway.

On the bright side, getting across the border was insanely easy. Also, I got to watch one of the ladies fisting an onion ring.

On the down side, I can't colour-code the money.

More tomorrow.
