Reading this article about the worst alcoholic shots ever devised, I found this entry:
Four Horsemen

It's definitely a classic, and one to make sure you get pictures of. The ingredients say it all; one shot will have your worst enemy crying for their mom!
¾ oz. Jose Cuervo Gold Tequila
¾ oz. Jagermeister Herbal Liqueur
¾ oz. Rumple Minze Peppermint Liqueur
¾ oz. Bacardi 151 Rum
What I want to know is, which drink corresponds to which apocalyptic horsemen?

I'm going to guess the Jägermeister is supposed to be war (because it's German, gaharf gaharf), but which ones are famine, disease and death?

A later comment says that the Four Horsemen should be Jim Beam, Johnny Walker, Jack Daniels and Jose Cuervo, i.e. all "named" drinks. In this case, which guy corresponds with which horseman?
jamesq: (LJ Meme)
Yet another meme. This one had some problems. Among them, numerous spelling errors in the results text (I corrected about six in the results below, and my spelling is atrocious - only spell checkers keep it readable).

The other big problem is that for many of the questions, there just wasn't very many good answers. Often I thought this would be better if I could answer X. It was like the subset of a good relationship meme. The author needs to refine it with feedback from others who aren't quite so vanilla.

In this respect I find that the original OK Cupid dating type quiz is much better, almost quasi-scientific. It's about as good as a typical Myers-Briggs test (and is possibly a varient of them).

Anyway, on to my results. I think it's kind of flattering, even if I do question the amount of thought that went into it:

Weight Watchers sucked this week. And by Weight Watchers, I mean me and by sucked I mean sucked back the calories like there was no tomorrow.

Oh well. Tomorrow begins a new week and I am going back on track. My goal of being 60 pounds down by Cuba is probably unrealistic at this point. I am changing it to 50 pounds down, which is where I was two weeks ago before I fell off the wagon.

I also failed to meet my job goal today (though I am very close, probably a day or two from completion). This means I won't be going to Vancouver this weekend. It was also my last window of opportunity to go out of town before Cuba, so the trip is now postponed until at least April.

Hmm. It makes an excellent reward for being 60 pounds down though. Since the next SCA event I'm likely to be at will be Beltaine, this works out nicely (sorry folks, the Cuban wedding clobbers any chance I have of going to Spring Champions or Winter War.

Unfortunately, by taking Winter War off the table, it gives me an excellent opportunity to put off building my armour. I really need to get on that. Of course, the chance to socialize and play Rock Band goes hand-in-hand with building armour, so maybe it will get done before the next war I'm likely to attend. Sheep War maybe? Quad War!

So I'm kinda bummed that I'm not going on a road trip to Van. I think a road trip to Banff is in order - provided I don't blow all my points on chocolate. Creme Brulee on the other hand...
