We Need a New Word...
Nov. 1st, 2007 08:28 am... Though neutral might work.
When there's someone you know and you have a complete absense of like for them, what do you call that? Dislike is too strong - I mean, you don't have anything against the person. They seem nice, you just don't feel any particular desire to get to know them any better. They exist in your sphere of aquaintences but if they vanished tomorrow you wouldn't consider it a great lose. Years later you might ask "Whatever happened to so-and-so?"
It seems a little harsh to describe someone in your social sphere like this, but I'm sure we could all think of someone like that. Hell, to someone out there, we're that person.
Note: If you have a Livejournal account and you're reading this, I'm not writing about you.
