Run 1 minute, walk 4 minutes. Repeat 9 times, 45 minutes total.

And I once again find myself starting from the beginning. Fuck.

In other news, the dryer I had fixed two months ago is again not working. I hope I kept that receipt.

Bored now. I keep updating my friends page to see if anyone's posted anything recently. Then I thought, It's better to write a post then to curse the postless-ness.

We spent Saturday afternoon gaming in Brain's D&D game. It was fun, though the fact that the party has zero stealth skills is becoming problematic. Afterwards we rented a couple of movies and ordered pizza. All around a lazy day in the company of friends. It wasn't like cuddling with Kate Beckinsale, but it was still good.

The first movie we saw was Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. It was laugh-out-loud funny for the vast majority of the film. I almost peed. If I see this on sale I will be picking it up because I need to make more people watch this film. For the record, it was way better than Dude, Where's My Car?.

When you rent a movie like this, you know it's not one for the ages. There will be no Oscars awarded to this group of filmmakers. The cliché's are mile-wide. For example, you know when you first encounter them, that the hot chick will wind up with one of our heros and the bullies will get their comeuppance. But the acting is good, the jokes are funny and everyone looks like they're having a great time. Man does not live by drama alone.

And hey, it's got Neil Patrick Harris in it.

The second movie we saw was The Butterfly Effect. The movie is a supernatural thriller, but not, strictly speaking, a horror movie. It does have some horrific situations though. Let's just call it a mind-fuck.

We watched the director's cut rather than the released version. It has a fairly punk ending, but one that is also more "honest" given the film's subject matter.

Along with The Grudge from last week, I've been seeing a lot of decent movies for the first time that I probably would never have watched if it weren't for my friends. Thanks folks.
