Thought about gaming, but didn't actually get off my ass to accomplish anything.
Been writing my Grey Mountain Holt memoirs for a project of Michael's - It (the memoirs) will appear here sometime in October (Michael's project gets first crack).

garething and I (skilled electrical work by Gareth and unskilled fetch-an-carry work by Me) replaced about a third of the wiring in my parents basement. This eliminated the evidence of my early misguided attempts to manipulate electricity - There's a reason I work with software rather than hardware these days. For one thing, I like having eyebrows. All it cost me was dinner at the Keg. Mmmm - mushrooms Neptune and sirloin steak with seafood and Béarnaise sauce.
Discovered that N'awlins is no longer in business. You don't suppose the fact that we always talked about going back, but never actually went back has anything to do with that do you?
Booked my flight to Vancouver for my Labour Day trip. Five days/four nights. Yippee!
Discovered that most of the people I know in the SCA (i.e. da Union) didn't actually go to the Clinton War. Also discovered that most of the con habitués I know didn't go the Conversion 19 (I had exactly one reason to go, but I had forgotten the con was this weekend, so I went to the Keg instead). Give the people what they want and they will flock to your door.
Sold all the surplus computers - now if I can just stay off the wagon.
