Dead Technology

I wandered out of bed to greet spookiemonkie2 as he was leaving.

"You wouldn't happen to have a blank video cassette lying around would you", he asked?
"Let me check"

I found a fresh tape, still wrapped in the original cellophane and I gave it to the monkey man. He thanked me and went out to do whatever errand he needed to do that required video tape and a trip through the cold.

I realized that the tape I had was from when I lived in Ggothic Towers. I had not taped anything for at least three years. Video cassettes are officially dead.

Actually, I still use them all the time. See I have this VCR instead of a Tivo or DVD recorder. It's the only way other than downloading later to get my tv shows when I miss them. But I want a DVD Recorder very badly.

I used mine to record all the rock rewards bonus codes from CJay... hooked a radio up to my vcr and programmed it to record for 15 mins, 4 times a day.. never miss one now...
