Every now and then I get a rude awakening - an indication that I'm nowhere near as smart as I think I am.

Yesterday I bought some fresh lamb steaks at the farmer's market. This morning I found them in my knapsack.

The last time I house sat for my folk I left the ice cream out on the counter.

Three different containers, on three different nights.

Actually, I put the last one away. In the fridge.

Once I left the eggs in the trunk of the car overnight. I also recently unthawed some frozen dough for breadsticks and as I was reading the package it said 'do not freeze'. Those little pop open containers don't like being frozen I guess.

I don't quite think that's they way they cloned Dolly. Now, E-Coli on the other hand - it's a biology experiment in a knapsack!
