Soul-man

Many years ago, the was a fad amongst my friends to "buy souls" (generally with the faux "hell bucks" that you can get around Chinese New Years). Often times the buyer would start out by saying "let's see if you really believe in a soul", which I always thought was the wrong question. I never sold mine - when asked I pointed out that it would be fraud to sell something I don't have.

Anyway, how about the rest of you?

I'm using it for my experiments.

I haven't decided if I believe in a soul, but whether it exists or not, I do not like letting anyone believe that they have that much power over me, or own any part of me.

You already have a piece of mine James,
and its worth considerably more than $5.

I figure it falls under the 'Just In Case' category... if it doesn't really exist or it isn't possible for another to possess it if it does, then all I miss out on is taking part in some silly joke. If it DOES exist and CAN be possessed... well I'd like to keep mine if it does...

Though really, I believe in a soul (I think), but I don't REALLY think you can buy and sell them... but just in case ;)

Don't really believe in a soul in-so-mucb as soul connotes some sort of religious context. Spirit, maybe in-as-much as you consider it energy, and I htink that energy continues on after.... everything. And as such cannot be bought or sold. Shared.... but not bought or sold

Souls For Sale?

I sort of agree with http://danceintheabyss.livejournal.com/ . In that I would prefer to share it with someone that I care for rather than sell it.

I have absolutely no idea. Following threads and links until I came across this survey and thought it was interesting; being bored, I responded to it. It wasn't until you replied that I even knew you had responded to the same survey. Purrhaps it was the milkshake?

Well... internet friend I've known since I was 15, meet real life SCA (medieval group) buddy from where I used to live.

Now I know there might be some issues with the armor and swords and the virgin eating and all, but try to play nice. ;)

Pleased to meet you Quixote and I am very envious of you being so lucky as to actually meet Hassiophis.

I have watched plenty of SCA exhibitions at renfaires that I frequented and I have an acquaintence here that participates in them. She says that I should volunteer myself as target practice...

I have collected a fairly good set of one-of-a-kind swords and daggers by William Lloyd but nothing that I would ever use for SCA. I really should put their pixs here somewhere.

I also caught the veiled references to "The Doom That Came to Sarnath", "Shub Niggurath" and your interest in Lovecraft. (This may have been how I actually got to your page)

Barbecued wench tastes like candy to me! (Even some non-virgins!)
