Updated Itinerary

I've opted to carpool out to AT War and Vancouver and fly back, rather then take my own car. Now I just need to figure out how to get my gear out there. It's about the same amount of stuff as I took to Estrella. Doing it this way gives me an outside chance of attending J&R's bbq. They only thing I was going to be doing that Sunday was drive, so this makes sense. Hot naked chicks in a hot tub will be my reward. Plus I get some pleasant company in the form of [livejournal.com profile] garething on the way out to the war and Vancouver.

Thank heavens for Westjet seat sales. Now if they'd only knock down the cost of going to Vegas in November.

Here's what I'm up to this summer:
  • May 30th: Beltaine (Calgary).
  • June 4th-6th: June Coronet (Alix, Alberta).
  • June 11th-13th: I feel certain that something is planned for this weekend, but I can't recall what.
  • June 18th-20th: Silverwolf (Warburg, Alberta).
  • June 25th-27th: Avacal-Tir Righ War (Clearwater, BC).
  • June 27th-July 3rd: Vancouver!
  • July 3rd: [livejournal.com profile] catalytic and [livejournal.com profile] madeileen's annual BBQ, assuming I'm not completely wasted after an SCA event, a week in Vancouver and an evening flight back.
  • July 4th: Designated coma.
  • July 10th-12th: A free weekend?!? How did that happen?
  • July 17th - July 19th: Halifax.
  • July 19th - July 27th: H&B's wedding (St. John's).
  • July 28th: Designated coma.
  • July 29th - August 2nd: Quad War (Marsden, SK).

Yah,

I bought my ticket to Montreal about 2-3 weeks ago at a great price.
I got an email from Westjet yesterday, so I checked out the price. One way had gone down by about $60 the other had remained the same. They gave me a credit for $48.

I was amazed. Never hurts to check.
