Embarrassing Stories of People I Knew
When I was in University I heard a story about SM, a guy I hung around with occasionally. SM had an older brother, RM, who had waist-length hair and a rather slim frame.
Well SM was at a party and had a few drinks in him when he spotted a girl he decided to chat up. She also had waist-length hair, so he decides to use this as a conversation opener.

"If you were twenty pounds lighter, you'd look just like my brother", he said."Well she whipped around and glared angrily at him. SM didn't immediately realize that comparing her to a man (only heavier) was not the compliment he intended. He was normally much much smarter than this, but he was half-sloshed. After a moment he decided to clarify things.
"No, you don't understand - my brother is actually really good looking"The angry glaring continued, only now it was combined with the creeps. At this point SM's brain reactivated and he turned and left without saying another word - what else could you say really?
